PUBLIC NOTICE: WATER USAGE RESTRICTION

Due to a recent lightning strike impacting on the City of Drumright water treatment plant, the system is currently operating at reduced capacity. To maintain adequate water pressure throughout the distribution system and prevent dangerously low-pressure levels, temporary water usage restrictions are now in effect.

Effective immediately, all residents and businesses are asked to:

• Limit water to essential needs only (drinking, cooking, hygiene)
• Avoid outdoor watering, including lawns and gardens
• Postpone activities such as car washing, pressure washing, and filling pools
• Reduce overall household and commercial water consumption as much as possible

These measures are necessary to ensure that sufficient pressure is maintained for fire protection and to prevent potential contamination risks associated with low system pressure.

Crews are actively working to assess damage and restore full system functionality as quickly as possible. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time.
