AGENDA

Call to Order — Chairman

  1. Public Hearing regarding a request from Marle Production Company, LLC to change the zoning of the former Edison School at 300 E Pine St from Residential to Light Industrial for the purpose of establishing a medical marijuana grow facility.
  2. Discussion and possible action to provide a recommendation to the Drumright City Commission regarding a request from Marle Production Company, LLC to change the zoning of the former Edison School at 300 E Pine St from Residential to Light Industrial
  3. Public Hearing regarding a request to rezone  16.94 acres, more or less, at the corner of Highway 99 and the Truck Bypass, from Agricultural to Residential RS-1 (Residential single-family low-density district; one dwelling per lot, minimum ten thousand (10,000) square feet lot size).  The legal description is attached.
  4. Discussion and possible action to provide a recommendation to the Drumright City Commission regarding a request to rezone 16.94 acres, more or less, at the Northwest Corner of Highway 99 and the Truck Bypass, from Agricultural to Residential RS-1.
  5. Public Hearing regarding a request to rezone Broadway Addition Lots 9-11, Block 8 (819 W Broadway St), from Commercial General to Light Industrial for the purpose of establishing a medical marijuana grow facility.
  6. Discussion and possible action to make a recommendation to the Drumright City Commission regarding a request to rezone Broadway Addition Lots 9-11, Block 8 (819 W Broadway St), from Commercial General to Light Industrial for the purpose of establishing a medical marijuana grow facility.
  7. Public Hearing regarding a request for a variance to allow a second residence to be built at 207 E Pine.  Zoning ordinances only allow one residence per 5,000 square feet of lot space in an RS-3 area, and these lots are comprised of approximately 5,625 square feet.
  8. Discussion and possible action to make a recommendation to the Drumright City Commission regarding a request for a variance to allow a second residence to be built at 207 E Pine.
  9. Discussion and possible action to make a recommendation to the Drumright City Commission regarding adding the following definitions to our ordinances: a. Tiny Home:  A dwelling that is less than 900 square feet. b. Short-Term Rental:  Any dwelling or portion thereof that is available for use or is used for accommodation or lodging of guest paying a fee or other compensation for a period of less than 30 consecutive days; a short-term rental shall not contain more than four bedrooms.
  10. Discussion and possible action to make a recommendation to the Drumright City Commission regarding the following ordinance additions: a. A Tiny Home is an allowable use in RMH and RS-3 districts with an exception granted by the City Commission b. A Short-term rental is an allowable use in AG, RMH, and RS-3 districts with an exception granted by the City Commission.
