August 2026 Employee of the Month
The City of Drumright is proud to recognize Fire Chief Brett Lunsford as the August Employee of the Month!
Brett has served with the Drumright Fire Department since January 2009 and was promoted to Fire Chief in 2015. In addition to his duties with the Fire Department, Brett also serves the City of Drumright as the Code Enforcement Officer.
Brett is always willing to lend a helping hand to the city, Drumright Public Schools, and community events throughout Drumright. His commitment to serving our community extends well beyond his daily responsibilities.
Brett also dedicates his time and expertise to numerous boards and committees, including:
- Drumright Zoning Board
- Creek County Ambulance Board — Vice Chair
- Creek County Fire District Association — Founding Member and Past President
- Payne County Fire District Association
- Drumright Public Schools Health and Safety Committee
- Drumright Public Schools Bullying and Suicide Prevention Committee
- Oklahoma State University Fire Service Training Subject Matter Expert Committee — Firefighter I & II, Instructor I & II, Officer I & II, and Chief Officer III & IV
