City of Drumright Employee of the Year

The City of Drumright Employee of the Year is Assistant Fire Chief Lucas Andrews. Lucas began his career with the Drumright Fire Department in 2012 as a volunteer firefighter. He quickly found he had a passion for the fire service and began a full-time career with the Drumright Fire Department in 2013.  He successfully passed the Lieutenant’s promotional exam in 2018 and was promoted shortly after. Lucas was promoted to Assistant Fire Chief in March of 2024.

Assistant Fire Chief Andrews is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of the E 911 and Dispatch center. While performing this role he has assisted in upgrading the current E 911 system and moving the center into its new location.
